Published July 15, 2014

MILL VALLEY, Calif. (BRAIN) — True Communciations has hired James LaLonde to head up the California-based PR and marketing firm's presence in New York City.

LaLonde will focus on a small number of client accounts while maintaining contacts with non-endemic media based on the East Coast.

“Bringing on James will increase our bench strength in New York. It’ll mean we’re able to deliver on last-minute requests and to take advantage of opportunities that many agencies never hear about,” said True founder Mark Riedy.

LaLonde most recently worked for a New York City-based public relations firm with clients primarily in the fashion industry. Prior to living in New York, LaLonde spent time in the marketing and public relations departments at Planet Bike and SRAM.

True Communications' clients include BMC, Castelli, Continental Tires, Giro Sport Design, Levi’s Gran Fondo, Recon Instruments, Shinola, Strava, Yeti Bicycles, and Wahoo Fitness.
