ST. LAURENT, Quebec (BRAIN) — Opus Bicycles will launch its 2016 product line with a cross-Canada tour this summer.

Dealers and media are invited to events in three Canadian cities with the Montreal event including an opportunity to visit Outdoor Gear Canada's 160,000-square-foot, LEED-certified headquarters that houses Opus' assembly line, warehouse and design team. Invitations to current Opus dealers have been sent out. Interested new dealers should contact their sales representative or email Opus directly at info@opusbike.com.

Opus will also introduce its new website and 2016 marketing campaign to dealers and media at the launch.

"Our core goal is to get more people on bikes," said Sylvain Bossé, Opus' marketing director. "We believe cycling improves people's lives and encouraging people to discover that truth has always been part of our culture. To make that happen we've developed tools to help dealers get new customers into their stores. We're excited to show everything we have in the works for 2016."

Opus' lineup for 2016 will feature major upgrades for 2016 including an expansion of the brand's Urban Sport category.

The brand has also updated its road bike line with the introduction of a new Endurance road-disc platform and on the trail side, Opus will show a greater focus on high-quality entry-level mountain bikes.

The events are in Montreal, July 23-24; Toronto, July 29-30; and Vancouver, Aug. 19-20.
