Appointment of Andrew Patton as Director of Sales to support continued growth

January 20th, 2020 ¬— Goodyear Bicycle Tires has expanded its sales team with the appointment of Andrew Patton as Director of Sales.

Patton brings a strong history of success to this newly created position, including more than 25 years of experience across a variety of industries and international markets. A longtime cyclist, Patton entered the bicycle industry in 2011 as head of Quality Bicycle Products' international sales and global market development team. Patton's experience also includes roles with the U.S. & Foreign Commercial Service, Sun Microsystems, and Bang & Olufsen; his educational background includes degrees from Macalester College and Yale University, plus studies at the National University of Taiwan.

"I've been watching Goodyear Bicycle Tires closely for some time now, and have been deeply impressed with its investment in precision manufacturing, business processes, and nimble go-to-market delivery infrastructure. These factors, plus a world-famous brand and solid product line, really set Goodyear Bicycle Tires up for success in the coming months and years — I'm thrilled and honored to be part of this story," says Patton.

"Having known Andrew for many years, I've been keenly aware of his professionalism and drive to make a positive impact. Given his diverse background and proven track record, along with his understanding of the global cycling industry, we are ecstatic to welcome Andrew as a key member of our growing team," says Luke Musselman, President.

Patton joins the team effective January 20th, 2020 and will be attending Goodyear Bicycle Tires' second appearance at the Taipei International Cycle Show, Booth M1302, from March 4 ¬– 7, 2020.
