Published November 5, 2026

LOS ANGELES (BRAIN) — Hollywood Racks has acquired OttoLock. The acquisition adds a security line to Hollywood Racks' carrying and accessories lineup.

"OttoLock has shown that a bike lock can be lightweight, colorful, and something riders genuinely want to bring along. We're excited to expand on that innovation," said Evan Nusbaum, CEO of Hollywood Racks. "We see OttoLock as the first step in a broader push to expand our product offering reach."

Hollywood Racks plans to launch new OttoLock products in 2027 while expanding the brand's reach beyond the U.S., building on Hollywood Racks' existing international distribution network.

"OttoLock offers dealers an easy-to-merchandise product that resonates with riders," said Sean Kneale, national sales manager at Hollywood Racks. "Locks are an essential add-on for any bike purchase, and we're committed to ensuring seamless stocking and sales support for our retail partners."

Current OttoLock products remain available to dealers directly from Hollywood Racks as well as through the distributor BTI. Retailers with questions about ordering, support or warranty can contact [email protected] or 800-747-4085.

A year ago, OttoLock announced it had sold its brand and assets to its manufacturing partner, Pacific Die Casting Corp. of Portland, Ore.
