Ottolock sells brand and assets to manufacturing partner

PORTLAND, Ore. (BRAIN) — OTTO DesignWorks LLC, the parent of the OTTOLOCK brand, has sold its brand and assets to Pacific Die Casting Corporation (PacDie), a long-time manufacturer for OTTO.

The brand will operate under the leadership of CEO Elizabeth Gubrud-Howe and Brand Manager Ben VanderZanden, the company said.

OTTO's founder, Jake VanderZanden, said, “This move will give the brand a shot of new fuel to keep innovating and growing. This is the perfect landing scenario for a strong future. I am confident that the PacDie team will make this brand bigger and better.”
