Ty Daugherty Joins Super Magnesium Company ALLITE Inc.

Daugherty brings more than 25 years of experience to the company with previous management roles across Europe and the U.S.

MIAMISBURG, Ohio, Monday 3 August, 2020 – Ty Daugherty has recently taken on the position of New Business Development Manager for material science company ALLITE Inc., He will be focusing all of his efforts on the global cycling industry, and has 25 years of experience in management roles for well-known brands including Speedplay, Reynolds Cycling and Fulcrum Wheels srl.

Founded in 2018, ALLITE® Inc. is a full-service material sciences organization that develops and manufactures high-performance, rare earth magnesium alloys called Super Mag™ for a diverse set of industries including cycling. They supply proprietary material science consulting, offer raw magnesium ingot, produce semi-fabricated product, including extrusion and sheet/plate, and provide custom engineering, manufacturing, and fabrication on an international scale.

In this new role, Ty will continue to build ALLITE's relationships within the cycling industry to introduce Super Magnesium and its unique applications for bike frames and parts. Most recently, ALLITE worked with VAAST Bikes to manufacture the world's first Super Magnesium™ frames.
