The National Nonprofit Organization Announces Appointment of Chris Degenaars to its Board of Directors.

SAN RAFAEL, CA (December 2, 2020) – Trips for Kids announced today that Chris Degenaars has been appointed to the national nonprofit's Board of Directors.

Chris Degenaars joins the Trips for Kids Board of Directors with years of marketing and branding experience, working with global and national brands across sports, fitness, and health industries.

Chris currently serves as the Marketing Specialist for Giant Group USA (Giant Bicycles, Liv Cycling, Momentum, CADEX), and also is the Founding President of Ad 2 SoCal, the 32-and-under division of the American Advertising Federation (AAF). In the past, he served on the Board of Directors for AAF Dallas, the Director of Operations & Strategy for Long Drive Agency, Head of Brand & Marketing of PhoneLynk, and Marketing Manager for Cadence Cyclery.

“Having worked with Chris as a volunteer this year on several Trips for Kids projects, we are thrilled that he is now joining us as a member of our board”, said Patricia Gallery, Board President. “Chris’s personal and professional experience in the cycling community coupled with his passion for our cause will further propel our movement forward to help kids, through the transformative power of bicycles. His marketing and communications expertise in the outdoor sports industry will be a tremendous asset to the organization.”

"I'm beyond grateful to be joining the Trips for Kids National Board," stated Chris Degenaars. "I know first-hand the positive impact a bike can have on a kids life, so to be part of bringing that experience to kids is a true honor. I'm excited to offer my knowledge in the cycling and marketing industries as I work alongside fellow Board members to continue growing Trips for Kids and bringing opportunities to communities around the nation."
