pinkjersey.com Announces Aggressive Plan to Open up to 250 Locally-Owned Retail Stores and Service Centers in the United States

_______________

SILVERTHORNE, CO (January 1, 2021) pinkjersey.com, an online retailer of namely Italian cycling products, announces today an aggressive plan to open up to 250 locally-owned retail bicycle shops and service centers in the United States.

"We are excited to announce today our plan to open up to 250 professional bicycle shops in the United States," company spokesperson Natalie Cristino says. "The stores will be locally-owned, will sell Italian and European cycling products, and will be funded using a similar program to our Cost-Plus Program for the pilot store."

The pinkjersey.com Cost-Plus Program (CPP) applies 10% to its landed cost plus credit card fees and shipping, in order to arrive at an article's selling price to enrollees. Landed cost is defined as Pink Jersey's wholesale price from the Distributor or Manufacturer, plus shipping. Credit card fees are 2,9% plus $0,30 per transaction.

Participation in the pinkjersey.com Cost-Plus Program is $100. The fee has to be paid on or before January 31, 2021, and the Cost-Plus savings begin on February 14, 2021. If a blended gross margin of 43,75% is assumed at retail, then the breakeven for Clients to participate in the pinkjersey.com CPP is $228,57.

Enrollment into the CPP will begins on January 1, 2021, and will end on January 31, 2021. The CPP will launch on February 14, 2021, and will remain in effect through December 31, 2021. If a critical mass of Clients have not enrolled into the CPP by January 31, 2021, however, then the Program will be canceled and any fees paid by Clients will be refunded in full.

"We recognize that 250 stores is grandiose, so we are focusing our immediate attention on opening a single location in order to prove the model," spokesperson Cristino says. "There is a hard raise in mind and we are hopeful our nearly 35,000 Clients historically, and over 5,000 new Clients this year will understand the brevity of the offer and that there is broad participation; this is in the realm of generous employee discount."

Brands that are currently available or pending under the pinkjersey.com Cost-Plus Program can be found on the company's Brands page, under COMPANY in the main menu. Details about the Pink Jersey Cost-Plus Program can also be found under COMPANY in the main navigation, where this a link to enroll.
