KENNEWICK, Washington – Carbitex - pioneers of the first responsive flexible carbon fiber composites utilized in performance footwear applications - announces this week its company growth for 2021 including two notable executive hires, expanded investment in manufacturing and operations, and reinforcing an infrastructure built to dominate the composite materials market.

Building out the strength of a stellar leadership team at Carbitex, Erika Canfield joins the brand as VP of Global Marketing with an extensive background in the outdoor industry following executive marketing roles at Outdoor Research and as Creative Director for PMI Worldwide overseeing the Stanley and Aladdin brands. Alongside Dave Lajeunesse, VP of Operations, and Principal Engineer, Tom DeShiell, the entire team adds to its focus consumer awareness on the benefits of flexible carbon fiber, with particular emphasis on significant growth within the performance footwear market.
