Hyper Joins Series as Presenting Sponsor for Ten Digital Competitions, Six LIVE Events, and a National Championships

Tulsa, Okla. (April 8, 2021) — USA BMX - the largest BMX racing organization in North America - announced today the 2021 USA BMX Freestyle Amateur Series has partnered with Hyper Bicycles. The USA BMX Freestyle 2021 schedule will consist of 10 digital competitions where membership and entry fees are required, five National events, and one Grand Final competition where membership and pre-registration are required for both.

“Hyper Bicycles has been supporting the BMX industry for more than 30 years, and for that support to now include the first-ever U.S. BMX amateur series, we are beyond grateful,” said USA BMX Freestyle President, Shane Fernandez. “Hyper Bicycles as a presenting sponsor is tremendous, but having a partner who believes in the same vision of creating a pathway for amateur riders and giving them the opportunity to progress is invaluable.”

Hyper Bicycles BMX Brand Manager Shane Goldsmid said: “Hyper Bicycles is proud to support the 2021 USA BMX Freestyle Series. BMX Athletes around the world are currently preparing for the 2021 Summer Olympics in Tokyo and supporting the 2021 USA BMX Freestyle Series will give young BMX riders in the USA the chance to reach their full BMX potential while having fun on their bikes!”

“The new series is a great opportunity for the next generation to get used to competing and to get their name out there,” said Hannah Roberts, Hyper and Team USA Freestyle rider and 2021 Olympic hopeful. “As a Team USA rider, it’s awesome to have more contests in the US to compete at since we are always traveling out of the country! It’s exciting to see more events happening in the USA to help grow the sport and to get the younger kids pumped to be on a bike!”
