Portland, OR (8/29/22)—Portland Design Works (PDW), creators of gear for everyday cycling, has recently hired Kate Echols Moore as their new Sales and Marketing Manager.

Echols Moore joins PDW most recently from Snow Peak and previously from Surly Bikes. As the Sales and Marketing Manager, Echols Moore’s main focus will be connecting with PDW distribution and retail partners.

“Portland Design Works’ products have been an essential part of my bicycle riding experiences for many years,” said Echols Moore. “I believe the thoughtful, purpose-driven designs, dedication to customer service, and commitment to giving back through 1% for the Planet make PDW a compelling, accessible brand for cyclists. I’m thrilled to be joining the PDW team and look forward to connecting and working with their customers.”

In addition to her work with PDW’s distribution and retail partners, Echols Moore will also be involved in the brand’s marketing, event planning, and sponsorships.

“I'm really happy to have Kate joining the PDW crew,” said Erik Olson, co-founder of PDW. “She comes to us with solid experience in the cycling and outdoor industries and, most importantly, she is an everyday cyclist with a passion for bikes.”
