eXC1 and eXC2 deliver class-leading value in the electric hardtail mountain bike category, upcoming live stream addresses Class I trail access

Irving, TX (September 1, 2023) – Denago has launched a new eXC line of mid-drive motor eBikes with availability across their network of more than 250 brick and mortar partner bike shops and at Denago.com, starting today.

These models are Denago’s first performance eMTBs for off-road enthusiasts. The eXC line includes two 29’er hardtail eBike models, both equipped with aluminum frames, Bafang mid-drive motors with torque sensors, Suntour suspension forks, hydraulic disc brakes, and Shimano drivetrains.

These new models are Denago’s first Class I eBikes: up to 20 MPH on pedal assist, without throttles. Of the various eBike classes, Class I models have the fewest usage restrictions, offering access to the widest variety of off-road trails at city, county, and national parks; as well as forests and recreation areas.

“These new models were designed from the ground up with the IBD in mind,” says Denago’s Head of Sales, Jeff Weiss. “Our partner bike shops asked us for better value than competitors were offering, and we’re proud that these new bikes deliver class-leading specs and features.”

Now available are:

  • ●  eXC1, offering the Bafang M410 mid-drive motor, 499Wh lithium-ion battery, and Suntour XCM32 suspension fork. MSRP: $2,749

  • ●  eXC2, featuring an upgraded M510 motor, larger 720Wh battery, Suntour XCM34 Boost suspension fork, digital LCD handlebar display, and dropper seatpost. MSRP: $3,199

Denago will host a consumer-facing live stream on Friday, September 1, 2023 at Noon Eastern time with Brian Holdt, the owner of Airline Cycles (a Denago dealer in East Hampton, CT) as the guest subject matter expert on Class I eBikes - where you can and can’t ride, understanding eBike features, and how they relate to trail access. Interested consumers and partner retailers can watch the stream live on Denago’s YouTube channel:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_1LxaF-E0ow

The eXC1 and eXC2 are in stock now at Denago’s brick and mortar retail partner locations across the United States - find your local dealer at https://denago.com/pages/find-a-dealer.
