Stromm to supply road, track, and time trial bikes; partnership anchored by wind-tunnel testing and engineer–athlete integration

Roanoke, VA — December 2, 2025 — Virginia's Blue Ridge TWENTY28 U.S based UCI Continental Women's Cycling team today announced a multi-year technical partnership with Stromm Cycles, beginning with the 2026 season. After 15 successful years with Felt Bicycles, the team will transition to Stromm/s road, track, and time trial platforms across its professional roster.

The collaboration centers on performance innovation and day-to-day integration. Over the next three years, TWENTY28 and Stromm will bring the team's top time trialists and pursuiters into the wind tunnel to refine rider positioning, cockpit integration, and equipment selection—turning validated data into faster results.

"Our program has always married athlete development with engineering-level detail," said Nicola Cranmer, Founder & General Manager of Virginia's Blue Ridge TWENTY28. "Stromm brings fresh ideas, rapid prototyping, and a real hunger to prove themselves. In many ways, we've added a specialized technical unit to our staff—the Stromm team will be embedded with our riders and coaches throughout the partnership to keep improving on the road, the track, and in the time trial."

Dave Koesel at Stromm Cycles added:

We're honored and excited to be chosen as the technical partner for such incredible athletes. On the road, we'll race Stromm's RAKTT—one of the few platforms truly leveraging the UCI's updated 8:1 aero profile. It's built to maximize rider performance across aerodynamics, handling, stiffness, and weight while staying practical for everyday race demands. With its adaptable front end and fit system, RAKTT can be configured for select time trial applications when the course and roster call for it. On the track, Stromm's new track frame takes full advantage of updated UCI rules around tube shapes and rider positioning, pairing that freedom with next-gen carbon layups to deliver a bike that feels planted, efficient, and unmistakably fast on the boards.

Partnership Highlights

Full-Fleet Support: Stromm will provide road, track, and time trial bikes for the professional squad, with coordinated fit and setup support.

Wind-Tunnel Program (2026–2028): Multi-phase testing focused on rider position, front-end systems, wheel/tire optimization, and race-day aero protocols.
Engineer–Athlete Workflow: On-site fit sessions, structured data capture, and rapid prototype evaluations feeding directly into product updates.

Pathway Impact: Learnings will filter into athlete development programming and educational content to help the next generation understand aerodynamics and bike setup.
