Minnesota-based Framed Bikes makes complete bikes retailing for $739 and up.

HELSINKI (BRAIN) — Amer Sports is reporting that sales in its cycling division — which is entirely composed of its Mavic brand — declined 2 percent in its third quarter, to 32.4 million euros ($40.9M), down from 33.1 million euros ($41.8M) in the same period last year.

SUWANEE, Ga. (BRAIN) — Maxxis has implemented a minimum advertised price policy for all of its bicycle products.

The policy will go into effect Nov. 1 and applies to all forms of media advertising, including TV, radio, magazine, catalog, direct mail and online sales.
