RideLondon

Developed by the mayor of London and his agencies in 2013, Prudential RideLondon is a festival of cycling. The event is managed by the London & Surrey Cycling Partnership (LSCP), a partnership between London Marathon Events Limited (owners and operators of the London Marathon since 1981) and SweetSpot Group Limited (operators of the Tour of Britain). More will be invested than ever before to create more safe, easy and well-connected cycle routes across the city to encourage more healthy and active travel. The programme includes new cycling infrastructure (including a network of Cycle Superhighways and Quietways), cycle hire, investment in cycle parking, community projects and events. Transport for London works with schools and businesses and deliver cycling training, free to anyone living, working or studying in London in partnership with London’s boroughs.
