SCOTTS VALLEY, CA (BRAIN) — Fox Factory Holding Corp. reported that sales for the third quarter increased by $9.4 million, or 12.9 percent, to $82.3 million, compared with the same period last year. The growth was largely driven by mountain bike and powered-vehicle suspension products.

CEO says Bell and Giro orders are up, but calls Easton cycling 'troubled' and promises a strategic shift

SCOTTS VALLEY, CA (BRAIN) — Easton-Bell Sports' cycling product sales declined $4.5 million in the quarter that ended Sept. 28, and CEO Terry Lee indicated much of the loss came from the Easton cycling division, which he called "troubled."

CARLSBAD, CA (BRAIN) — Spy Inc. on Tuesday reported its 10th consecutive quarter of year-over-year sales growth, with third-quarter sales ticking up 3 percent to $10.2 million from $9.9 million a year earlier.

Bike-related sales to Europe and U.S. were down, Asian sales up

OSAKA, Japan (BRAIN) — Shimano’s sales climbed to $2.03 billion (199.501 billion yen) over the first nine months of the year, up from $1.86 billon (182.739 billion yen) over the same period last year.

HELSINKI, Finland (BRAIN) — Amer Sports, Mavic’s parent company, posted a 1 percent growth in sales in the third quarter to $841 million (608.9 million euros). But the company said its 5 percent growth target for the full year remains on track.

LOS ANGELES, CA (BRAIN) — Sport Chalet, Inc. is reporting a 2.8 percent sales decrease in its first quarter, which ended June 30, compared to the same period last year. Sales came in at $81.5 million, down from $83.8 million last year.

WESTPORT, CT (BRAIN) — Compass Diversified Holdings, the parent company of Fox and CamelBak, reported that Fox sales over the first half of the year reached $125.2 million, an increase of 18 percent from a year earlier, whereas CamelBak sales dropped 9 percent to $77.3 million.
