PORTLAND, OR (BRAIN) — Cyclone Bicycle Supply has gone live with SmartEtailing’s Supplier Sync program, allowing retailing customers to see many of the products Cyclone carries from a subscribing Cyclone dealer’s website. Live inventory updates allow the retail customers to see whether a product is in stock “in store” or “in warehouse” and to arrange local pick-up or delivery.
“We see SmartEtailing as the ideal channel for providing our dealers with an expanded selection of product without necessarily increasing their inventory,” said Cyclone Bicycle Supply general manager John Byfield. “With next-day delivery to many of our customers, we believe SmartEtailing’s Buy Local Now feature, which has been adopted by many of the brands that we distribute, will also encourage consumers to purchase from their local IBD and experience the value added by their experienced staff and service department”.
