Published June 6, 2019

LEVIS, Québec and LEXINGTON, S.C. (BRAIN) — HLC is now offering an online fulfillment service to retailers in the US and Canada.

The service will ship products direct from an HLC warehouse, saving an average of three days of transit time, the distributor said. HLC said the service has "a predictable freight structure and no minimum order requirements." Retailers also save the cost of receiving, re-packaging, re-shipping products.

"Consumers today expect a certain level of convenience when they shop. Our goal with HLC Fulfillment is to equip retailers with an easy-to-use tool that enables them to better serve and engage with those consumers," said Derrick Boatwright, HLC's director of e-commerce and digital strategy.

"It's the perfect way to provide a great customer experience while simultaneously reducing your effort and cost. Our retailers are the experts on selling to the consumer — let HLC be the experts on the logistics of getting it in their hands quickly."

Retailers can make the orders via hlc.bike, FTP, file upload, or an automated API.

Products sell at the same price as regular stocking orders. Same-day shipping is standard when orders are made before the cutoff time. Retailers receive a daily email summary with tracking information. The products are shipped in unbranded boxes and packing slips.

Most products from HLC are eligible for fulfillment orders, some exclusions apply.
