CABDA going to Disney World in November

Published June 30, 2021

CHICAGO (BRAIN) — CABDA will hold an Industry Summit at Disney World in Florida this November, resuming plans for the inaugural event that was canceled due to COVID-19 last year.

The Summit will be Nov. 1-2.

"Since we first started planning this event, our industry has been turned completely upside down," CABDA's Jim Kersten said. "The story of our supply chain woes has been hammered to death. The focus of this event is what happens next. What is the three or five-year forecast for this industry?"

The Summit is titled "Keep the Bike Boom Alive!" and will feature keynote speakers, panel discussions, and breakout sessions.

"What can we do to keep the sales surge going as long as possible? How do we retain as many new riders as possible? The conference format allows us to dive deeper into these topics than we can at our Expos," Kersten said. "And the location at Walt Disney World allows folks to bring their families."

Conference attendance includes a catered breakfast and lunch each day, networking breaks, nightly cocktail receptions, and a finale dinner that ends with dessert served under the fireworks at Disney's Epcot Park.

The venue is the Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin Resort. Attendees and their families will have access to discounted hotel rooms and theme park tickets, as well as extended theme park hours.

Introductory registration is available until July 31; early registrants can save up to $200. A complete speaker list will be available in August. More information is available at bicyclesummit.com.
