Home & Outdoor sales decrease negatively affects Helen of Troy Q3 earnings

Published January 8, 2026

EL PASO, Texas (BRAIN) — Osprey and Hydro Flask parent Helen of Troy reported third-quarter consolidated net sales declined 3.4% year-over-year with Home & Outdoor segment sales slipping 6.7%.

Overall net sales for the quarter ending Nov. 30 were $512.8 million, compared with $530.7 million at the same time last year. Home & Outdoor net sales — encompassing Osprey and Hydro Flask — were $229.6 million, compared with $246.1 million year-over-year.

The company cited a decrease from organic business of $57.1 million for the revenue decrease but it was partially offset by the acquisition of Olive & June.

"We delivered third-quarter results in line with our outlook and are making progress toward stabilizing the business despite the challenging external environment," said CEO G. Scott Uzzell. "We grew revenue in key brands — OXO, Osprey, and Olive & June — expanded organic D2C sales, and generated positive free cash flow despite tariff-related headwinds."

Net income loss for the quarter was $84.1 million, compared with net income of $49.6 million at the same time last year. Diluted loss per share was $3.65, compared to diluted earnings per share of $2.17.

Helen of Troy's corporate headquarters is in El Paso, Texas, and its stock is traded on the NASDAQ under the HELE symbol. Stock quote on Nasdaq.
