CSG expands retailer education program beyond North America, adds training modules

WILTON, Conn. (BRAIN) — Dorel's Cycling Sports Group, the division that includes Cannondale, GT and Fabric, has expanded its retailer training program to Europe, the U.K. and Australia.

CSG also is adding more training modules to the program, which is called Cycling Prophet.

"Education and training are vital to our success in the ever-changing cycling industry," said Nick Hage, the general manager of CSG in the U.S. "Our ability to educate relies equally on us listening to retailers and consumers, as it does to offer simple and current topics which clearly communicate our message."

CSG launched the program last July. Since then, retailers have taken nearly 70,000 online classes; 99 percent of Cannondale dealers have signed into and taken courses with Cycling Prophet.

The company said it is releasing several new training modules per month. It also added a "workshop" section for service staff and sales teams.

"Cycling Prophet is an essential resource to give dealers the power to be brand advocates," said Jane Pearson, the global director of education at CSG. "We want to ensure our dealers have the knowledge to become experts, in addition to having the right tools to do their jobs."
