LONG BEACH, Calif. (BRAIN) — Hiroshi Yamazaki has joined ACT Lab and recently established ACT's newest sales and research office in Osaka, Japan.

"Yamazaki's intimate knowledge of safety standards coupled with his experience in global manufacturing and professional leadership will help ACT facilitate greater communication with suppliers, manufacturers, importer/exporters in Japan, Vietnam, Cambodia and throughout other Asian nations," said ACT's president and CEO, John Bogler. "He has already contributed immensely to our customers understanding of international highway and safety regulations."

Previously Yamazaki was with the Cateye Company in Japan, overseeing sourcing, customer relations, business planning and global safety and standards research for the manufacturer. Prior to Cateye, Yamazaki held multiple positions in customer relations, sales, planning and administration for Shimano Inc., managing and directing operations at subsidiary offices in Germany, Netherlands and America.

Yamazaki will be participating at the upcoming Interbike and Taichung Bike Week trade expos, as well as attending the International Consumer Product Health and Safety Organization Symposium (ICPHSO) this November in Tokyo. He can be reached by email at hyamazaki@act-lab.com.
