MORGAN HILL, CA (BRAIN) — Specialized has released its first long-travel 29er, aimed at the fast-growing market for enduro bikes. The new Enduro Comp SE delivers 155mm of rear wheel travel and adds only 6 millimeters to the wheelbase of the bike’s 26” counterpart.
“The Specialized way of making a 29er is unrivaled. We make the best 29ers because of our attention to detail and we bring riders what they want," said Sam Benedict, Specialized's mountain bike product marketing manager. “A 29er in the All Mountain category was thought to be impossible because of the challenges with fit, geometry, and weight. But we have figured it out and it further propels our 29er line.”
The alloy Specialized Enduro Comp SE 29 comes in two colors and retails for $3,500.
