Published June 23, 2015

GOLDEN, Colo. (BRAIN) — Spot Brand Bicycles has updated its Rallye singlespeed mountain bike model with new colors, a red Gates CenterTrack belt and a new carbon fork.

The Rallye features a frame made proprietary, shaped, butted and tapered aluminum tubes. Each size frame has specific tubing configurations for optimum performance. A newly designed all-carbon fork smooths the ride and is stronger and lighter than its predecessor. It has a 1 1/8-inch by 1 1/2-inch tapered steerer. The frame features newly designed Wagyū 2 Slider Dropouts that allow belt-driven or chain-driven configurations, and painless wheel removal with no need to re-tension the belt.

The frame also has post mounts on the fork and the Wagyū 2 sliders.

The company said the latest generation red Gates Carbon Drive System is stronger, lighter, more compact and better at shedding debris than the prior Gates systems.

It's available in six sizes, from 50cm to 60cm, and three colors: blue, orange and purple. MSRP is $2,700.
