Platypus revamps hydration pack line for 2016

SEATTLE (BRAIN) — Platypus has redesigned its Duthie all-mountain hydration packs, Tokul cross-country hydration packs, and women's-specific Siouxon and B-Line collections for 2016. The company added new features including ample internal storage, external carry options for body armor and full-face helmets, and the low-profile 3.0L BigZip LP Reservoir that comes standard with each pack.

The new packs include:

  • The Duthie A.M. 15.0 and 10.0. The Duthie is built for full days on the mountain, with "cavernous gear capacity, smart organizational options, and a carrying system for a full-face helmet and pads." It also includes the new FloatAir back panel. MSRP: $149 (10.0) and $159 (15.0).
  • B-Line 8.0. The B-Line is made for cross-country riding, with a lightweight, low-profile design tailored specifically for women. It has the new RidgeAir back panel. MSRP is $109.95.
  • Tokul X.C. 5.0 and 8.0. The redesigned Tokul X.C. 8.0 and 5.0 packs are designed for versitality. The packs boast a combination of capacity, intuitive storage, a low-profile silhouette, and the new RidgeAir back panel. -MSRP: $89.95 (5.0) and $99.95 (8.0).
  • Siouxon 10.0. The redesigned women's specific Siouxon 10.0 hydration pack offers a stable, tailored fit, plenty of space to organize riding essentials, and the FloatAir back panel. MSRP: 89.95.
