PETALUMA, Calif. (BRAIN) — E-Thirteen is now shipping its TRS Race Cassette, an 11-speed 9-46-tooth cassette that fits SRAM XD drivers.
The cassette offers a 511 percent gear range with a single chainring — a bit more than the gear range offered by SRAM's 12-speed Eagle drivetrain, which has a 500 percent range. It is a two-part design, with the three largest cogs machined from a single piece of aluminum. The smaller cogs are machined from steel. The large cogs are attached to the driver with a lockring, and the smaller cogs are then attached to the larger cogs with a chainwhip.
The cassette is shipped with the lockring and a grease packet. The aluminum cogs will be available separately soon.
