SEATTLE (BRAIN) — REI Co-op has developed a line of "lifestyle e-bikes," and the two Co-op Cycles models will be available to members exclusively until Sept. 1.
Members have early access to the Generation e1.1 now and the Generation e1.2 later this summer before both models are available for non-members. The Generation e1.1 and e1.2 are one-size-fits-most e-bikes to join the brand's existing line of electric models, the CTY e2.2 and CTY e2.2. The e1.1 and e1.2 feature front and rear lights as well as memory foam saddles.
They also feature 20-inch wheels and a low-step frame. The bikes are spec'd with 2.4 Schwalbe Super-Moto-X tires with Double Defense GreenGuard puncture protection, Shimano seven-speed drivetrains, Tektro hydraulic disc brakes, and Bafang Hub drive motors.
