SRAM Launches 2008 Product on Web Site

Published October 16, 2007

CHICAGO, IL (BRAIN)—SRAM revamped its Web site, www.sram.com, to get all its new 2008 product details up so retailers and others can get a head start on its new equipment.

“Every year, we introduce our new Web site during the Eurobike show, as this kicks off the fall tradeshow season. All of our new 2008 products are up except the new SID, which will be up shortly,” said Eric Schutt, mountain bike public relations manager.

Info on Red, SRAM’s latest top-of-the-line road group, the 20th anniversary X0 rear derailleur with new cosmetics and new Avid disc brakes including Code 5, an inexpensive freeride brake, are on the site. As is the company’s new single chain-ring Truvativ cranks and totally revamped Rockshox SID. And if you want to know what the company’s BlackBox Racing Development program is up to, www.blackboxracing.com, which is the group developing these new products.

SRAM also is increasing brand awareness of PitStop, its full range of bicycle maintenance and care products by the people who actually design and manufacture bicycle components. From brake cable kits to bike cleaners and maintenance products PitStop has a full product line.
