Published April 28, 2008

NEW YORK, NY (BRAIN)—Rodale has promoted Chris Lambiase to vice president and group publisher for Running and Cycling, effective May 12.

In his expanded duties, Lambiase will assume oversight for both the Runner's World and Running Times brands, working closely with David Willey, senior vice president and editor-in-chief of Runner's World and editorial director of Running Times, as well as Jonathan Beverly, editor-in-
chief of Running Times.

"Chris merges tremendous credibility within the endurance sports industry with a track record of success as a publishing executive, making him uniquely qualified to lead the important running business at Rodale," said MaryAnn Bekkedahl, executive vice president and group publisher for Rodale. "His experience in spearheading businesses with a diversified portfolio will be invaluable as he steps into his new role to drive further growth for our brands in print, online, mobile and other platforms."

Since joining Rodale in 2004 as vice president and publishing director of Bicycling, Lambiase has driven unprecedented advertising growth for Bicycling while
developing the brand through business extensions, a thriving Web site and innovative programs that leverage both consumer and advertiser enthusiasm for cycling. Especially noteworthy in Lambiase's tenure is the success of Bicycling's international BikeTown program, which has helped transform people's lives with the gift of a bike.
