Norco Promotes John Williams to President

PORT COQUITLAM, British Columbia (BRAIN)—Norco Products has promoted John Williams to president.

Williams graduated from Simon Fraser University in 1987 and then qualified as a chartered accountant in 1990. After completing his schooling, Williams spent six years with Ernst Young working in auditing, taxation and corporate finance.

Following a brief stint in the mining sector, Williams joined Norco in as the company's controller in 1998, stepped into the role of chief financial officer in 2003, and was promoted to vice president of finance in early 2007.

"In his 10-year tenure John has successfully taken on a wide variety of responsibilities that will lend to a smooth transition,” said Jim Harman, who was recently appointed chief executive officer of Norco. "I'm confident that John will provide strong leadership in the future as Norco continues to grow."
