RockShox issues stop-ride notice for certain MY27 Zeb forks

Published October 30, 2026

(PINKBIKE) — According to a bulletin Pinkbike obtained that was sent to retailers, RockShox has issued a stop-ride notice for some Zeb forks related to an "out of specification upper tube which could result in loss of air pressure in use." The bulletin goes on to say that, "In use, an impact which results in an aggressive fork extension could result in the air assembly snap ring dislodging, causing the fork to suddenly lose air pressure."

Riders are instructed to stop riding the product while the issue is evaluated. The serial number is located on the back of the crown, and is visible even when the fork is installed.

RockShox issued a statement to Pinkbike with more details:  "RockShox is evaluating a potential safety issue involving RockShox ZEB Ultimate, ZEB Ultimate Flight Attendant, ZEB Select+, and ZEB Select front suspension forks with serial numbers ranging from 07T6XXXXXXXX to 42T6XXXXXXXX.

"RockShox advises riders with forks within the affected serial-number range — which is located on the back of the fork crown — to stop riding the product while the evaluation continues.

"We understand that being asked to stop riding is frustrating. We're working as quickly as possible to complete our evaluation and provide riders with clear guidance and next steps. If action is required, RockShox will work directly with affected riders to resolve the issue as quickly as possible and at no cost."
