Hincapie Relaunches Web Site

GREENVILLE, S.C. (BRAIN)—Hincapie Sportswear has relaunched, the company’s Web site dedicated to co-owner and Team Columbia professional rider, George Hincapie.

The new website will feature behind-the-scenes photos, video interviews and rider performance data from Hincapie during the 2008 Tour de France, which starts on Saturday.

“We are very excited about these new features on George’s Web site,” said Rich Hincapie, president of Hincapie Sportswear. “We wanted to redesign the Web site, but we didn’t want to just give it a new look. We wanted to take advantage of some great new technology that will give visitors a totally new experience online. Polar and VeloNews are helping to make some of these new features work. I think people are going to love the new site. Fans can get closer to George than they ever have been before.”

Following every stage of the 2008 Tour de France, Hincapie’s Polar CS600 performance data will be posted on Fans can view his heart rate and power output throughout each stage.
