MerchantOS Teams with Giant

Published July 11, 2010

SAN JOSE, CA (BRAIN)—Bicycle retailers now have another option for submitting purchase orders to Giant.

MerchantOS, a Web based point of sale system for bicycle dealers, has teamed up with Giant to offer integrated ordering, according to a press release. This new feature allows retailers to create purchase orders within MerchantOS and with the click of a button submit them straight to Giant.

This type of supply chain integration saves retailers time by cutting down on double data entry of purchase orders. It also allows the retailer to take full advantage of the POS system's features such as automatic purchase order generation based on desired inventory levels.

MerchantOS has order integration with QBP, Hawley, and now Giant Bicycle. Along with order integration MerchantOS also has a large catalog database from 108 bicycle related vendors containing over 500,000 products.
