Rocky Mountain Festival Starts Tomorrow

Published August 11, 2010

LEADVILLE, CO (BRAIN)—The 2010 Rocky Mountain Bicycle Festival is set to kick off in Leadville tomorrow.

The two-day event presented by Hüdz Enhancement Brake Hoods will continue the tradition of mixing business with pleasure by featuring a broad range of cycling-industry companies along with local beer from Dillon Dam & Dillon Pub Breweries, food, music and give-aways.

With an estimated 30,000 people expected to flood Leadville for the weekend’s epic mountain bike race and the ensuing battle between Dave Weins, Lance Armstrong and the deepest field in the race’s history, the Rocky Mountain Bicycle Festival is ideally situated just blocks from the race’s start/finish at the Leiter Field complex.

The third-year event brings together custom framebuilders, production bike manufacturers, component and accessory companies, service and non-profit organizations, and kids activities on the 13 and 14. The RMBFestival benefits Livestrong and Leadville’s Mineral Belt Trail.
