Published January 27, 2011

DANA POINT, CA (BRAIN)—SmartEtailing has promoted longtime client-services representative Brian Rawlings to new-accounts manager.

In his new role, Rawlings is in charge of introducing the SmartEtailing service to prospective specialty retailers, handling new-account sales and helping clients get up to speed once they’ve signed up, according to a press release.

“Having helped so many of our retailers with their websites in my position as a client services representative, I know the significant benefit of having SmartEtailing in your corner and I’m looking forward to helping as many new clients as possible to make the most of their businesses with our standout products," Rawlings said.

In a related development, SmartEtailing’s client services director Paul Danek has accepted a consulting position with the technology and outsourcing giant Accenture. Danek developed his stellar application service provider (cloud computing) skills in his seven years at SmartEtailing.

“I can’t say enough about the incredible experience I’ve gained with SmartEtailing,” Danek said. “It’s definitely a bittersweet change, but I’m excited to put all that I’ve learned about the strategic benefits of software-as-a-service to work on a bigger stage.“

Adds SmartEtailing’s Co-founder Mark Graff, “We’re excited for two reasons: We can provide meaningful new challenges to Brian and we get to see Paul stretch his talents further. It’s one form of confirmation that our work and the things that can be learned here are valuable beyond the scope of one industry. All of us wish Paul much success in his new position. Like everyone on our team, he’s made numerous, significant contributions to our company and the value of what we offer our clients.”
