Felt Adds Mobile App for Tech Savvy Shoppers

IRVINE, CA (BRAIN)—Felt Bicycles on Thursday launched a mobile version of its website, Felt apps are available for iPhone, iPad, Android and most mobile platforms at its website.

“The items available for sale on our new mobile site—parts, accessories, clothing and custom frames—are the identical items currently for sale on our full-size website,” said Doug Martin, Felt’s marketing director.

“The launch of Felt's new mobile site does not signify any changes in what we sell or how we sell it, it simply represents a new method to find, view and interact with us,” Martin said.

Felt’s mobile-optimized site includes the ability to view all products—bicycles, frames, parts and clothing—and their specifications. Users can switch between color options and zoom in or out. To complement the product menu, users can also geo-locate a Felt dealer using the mobile-specific Dealer Search function. They can also make purchases using Felt’s online store.

“A mobile version of our site is something we had discussed early in our 2012 planning. At the time, even our internal habits were a clear indicator of the shift to mobile online usage and interaction,” Martin said.

“Especially in cycling, which is such a technology-driven activity and demographic, having the ability to view, find and engage with our products and brand while on the move is something we believe our customers will find both useful and enjoying,” he added
