Paul Component expanding factory

Published October 1, 2012

CHICO, CA (BRAIN) — Paul Component Engineering has begun construction on a 2,000-square-foot addition to its factory, increasing its square footage by 50 percent.

The company said the addition was necessitated by 21 percent average annual growth over the last five years.

The addition will allow for the introduction of new products, namely an assortment of cassette hubs, and increased inventory.

“Since we’ve moved in to our current location sales have doubled," said Paul Price. "The space seemed huge at the time but now we’re packed in like sardines. The addition itself is larger than the shop we moved out of in 2008."

Price said construction will be completed in December.
