Greg Hammond joins Hitcase

VANCOUVER, B.C. (BRAIN) — Greg Hammond, a former Shimano executive in Canada, has joined iPhone case brand Hitcase as director of brand marketing.

Hammond will lead the development and execution of Hitcase's global marketing and brand initiatives.

Hammond has more than 20 years of sales, marketing and branding expertise in the active lifestyle and action sports industry. Most recently, he worked concurrently as national marketing manager for Shimano/Pearl Izumi in Canada, and as the North American sports marketing manager for Shimano American Corp's bicycle division.

Hammond started his career with Shimano as a sponsored angler and bicycle rider.

His blue-chip background will help us implement our content strategy, as well as expand our footprint within specialty and boutique retail."

Hitcase offers waterproof, shock-resistant, and mountable iPhone cases, with interchangeable lenses, apps, and accessories.
