Blackburn opens applications for Ranger brand ambassador program

Published January 7, 2016

SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif. (BRAIN) — Blackburn has opened up applications for the fourth edition of its “Out There” Ranger brand ambassador program.

Blackburn is recruiting six new brand ambassadors for 2016 who will test Blackburn products on long-distance riding adventures on the Pacific Coast and the Great Divide Mountain Biking Route while supporting and promoting the core culture that Blackburn supports.

Partners for the 2016 Ranger program include Bell, Niner, Giro, Brooks, SRAM, WTB and Big Agnes. Selected Rangers will be equipped with Niner bikes, helmets, clothing and camping gear. A travel stipend will be provided to help achieve the goal of completing the route.

“We know that there is a great story around every corner once you are on your bike, and we want to be a part of that again,” said Robin Sansom, Blackburn brand manager. “Enabling adventure through design and innovation was the reason that Jim Blackburn started the company 40 years ago.”
