Published March 22, 2016

IRVINE, Calif. (BRAIN) —  BMX and mountain bike racing legend Mike King has joined Felt Bicycles as a brand ambassador. King has won more than 20 championships and is a member of the BMX Hall of Fame and the U.S. Bicycling Hall of Fame.

He will work with Felt's team of engineers in developing new off-road bicycle platforms, as well as seeking out new talent in the mountain bike community to help increase Felt's brand awareness at the grass-roots level.

"I'm excited to meet with the Felt dealer base, provide input to Felt's research and development team, and hopefully be a great spokesperson for the Felt brand," King said. "And most importantly, I'm excited to help elevate the off-road category at Felt Bicycles. Throughout my career, I learned that it was absolutely crucial to partner with companies who were passionate about building the best products. But it was equally important to partner with companies who were continually willing to raise the bar when it comes to performance. I'm proud to be working with a company like that in Felt Bicycles."

Company founder Jim Felt said, "We're super excited to have Mike King join Felt Bicycles. Mike was an incredible champion, and we're thrilled that he'll be bringing his decades of experience racing bicycles at the highest levels of competition to the Felt brand and providing valuable feedback to our engineering team."
