CHICAGO (BRAIN) — SRAM veterans Sander Rigney and Ron Ritzler have each joined the company's senior management team in vice president roles.

Rigney began with RockShox in 1998 and continued with SRAM after their acquisition in 2002. His previous roles include dealer service, international warranty, technical writing, AM sales and product management. He most recently served as the RockShox category manager. As vice president of RockShox suspension he will oversee all suspension and dropper posts.

"I'm grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the leadership of SRAM and continued growth of RockShox," Rigney said.

Ritzler joined SRAM in 1996, serving in various capacities, including dealer service, OE/AM sales, product management, as well as road and MTB category management. He will now serve as the VP of SRAM components and will manage MTB, road, and urban drivetrains and brakes.

"I've had a great progression here at SRAM and I'm thrilled to be in a position to contribute even more. I'm also excited about where our brand is heading and we will absolutely continue to drive innovation," Ritzler said.

Both will report to SRAM's COO, Jeff Shupe. The promotions were effective July 1.

"Ron and Sander have incredible collective experience, perspective and insight. Moving up to this level is the right step in their careers and we are fortunate to welcome them to the senior management team," Shupe said.
