FLETCHER, N.C. (BRAIN) — Cane Creek Cycling Components has hired Luke Bukoski as its new director of marketing. Bukoski started in the position March 15.

A native of Western North Carolina, Bukoski is an avid cyclist with an extensive and diverse background in communication and marketing. He brings to the company experience in strategic and integrated marketing with expertise in digital marketing and visual storytelling.

“I’m really excited to join this outstanding team. As a career marketer and lifelong cyclist, this position is a dream come true for me,” Bukoski said. “Cane Creek has such a strong brand and a reputation for quality and innovation — and it’s thanks to the hard work of passionate people doing what they love. I’m excited to be a part of that and to help share Cane Creek's outstanding products and story with the world.”

Bukoski previously served as chief communication and marketing officer for the University of North Carolina at Asheville. He joins Cane Creek as the company has launched six new products since the beginning of 2017, including its first suspension fork, the HELM.

“Cane Creek has been making big strides over the last year to re-attain the relevance, innovation and status the brand had in years past,” said Brent Graves, president and CEO of Cane Creek. “In a new director of marketing we sought modern marketing mastery, the ability to translate and communicate the essence of Cane Creek — and most importantly of all, an enthusiastic attitude to help complete those strides. We believe Luke brings all that and more to our North Carolina family.”
