Swiftwick hires ORIS Intelligence for MAP monitoring

Published May 30, 2017

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. (BRAIN) — Swiftwick is now working with ORIS Intelligence to help monitor and enforce its Minimum Advertised Price policy.

ORIS Intelligence will enable Swiftwick to monitor the internet to prevent price erosion.

"We made a major update to our MAP and Online Sales policy last year and invested significant energy into cleaning up our distribution channels, particularly online," said Chuck Smith, the president of Swiftwick. "Swiftwick's partnership with ORIS is a natural continuation of that process since their unique platform gives us the tools we need to need to enforce MAP compliance to ensure we're supporting our authorized retailers. Swiftwick has been a long-time favorite of runners, cyclists, hikers, golfers and anyone pursuing an active lifestyle."

ORIS Intelligence Pamela Springer said, "With this partnership, it is clear that Swiftwick is committed to delivering their market with a consistent pricing experience, and is therefore protecting the integrity of their brand."

"Our near real-time monitoring empowers Swiftwick to easily and effectively take action, when any pricing violations from authorized or unauthorized sellers are uncovered," Springer said.
