FSA lowers prices on disc brakes

Published October 9, 2014

MUKILTEO, Wash. (BRAIN) — FSA-USA said Wednesday that due to more cost-effective manufacturing process, the company has lowered prices on its K-Force and Afterburner hydraulic disc brakes but is maintaining existing margins.

MSRP on K-Force brakes (front or rear) has dropped to $299.99 from $369.99, while pricing on Afterburner brakes dips to $199.99 from $289.99.

"This will allow distributors and bicycle dealers yet another competitive advantage when comparing Full Speed Ahead brake platforms to that of their closest competitors," FSA said in a release.

The company is also launching a Dealer Seeding Program to "get our brakes mounted on the personal bicycles of our Independent Bike Dealers for their own validation." Dealers interested in the program are urged to contact FSA-USA directly.
