Retailers Can Win By Just Saying 'Thule'

SEYMOUR, CT (BRAIN)—Thule is giving away $10,000 in the months of May and June and bike shop employees can get some of the cash by “Just Saying Thule."

Thule secret shoppers will be visiting bike shops across the country and asking which rack, hitch or cargo product that shop suggests. If the employee responds with “Thule” they could be handed $50 on the spot. If the shop gives three or more reasons why Thule is their product of choice they could receive an additional $50.

“Retail sales personnel are one of the biggest reasons that Thule is as successful as we are today. We want to thank them by giving a little back,” said Tripp Wyckoff, Thule’s Vice president of sales, marketing and service. “We are proud to offer products that are made in the U.S., come with a lifetime warranty, have the highest test standards in the industry and fit more vehicles than any other manufacturer.”

Retailers and shop employees will be eligible for more prizes and pro deals as the 2008 version of Rack It Science launches in May. Rack It Science is Thule’s entertaining and educational online training program and can be found at rackitscience.com.
