Velofix sells its 100th franchise

VANCOUVER, British Columbia (BRAIN) — Velofix has sold its 100th mobile bike service franchise, with a multi-territory deal in the Atlanta area.

Velofix Atlanta will be the first location to launch in Georgia. Velofix now operates in all major cities in Canada and most major U.S. markets. Most recently Velofix began operating in Greater Los Angeles, Northern Virginia, Las Vegas and Vancouver, Washington.

Velofix CEO and co-founder Chris Guillemet said, "This is a huge day for our company and for the mobile bike shop model. One hundred franchise territories sold is a major milestone and we are proud to be the largest fleet of mobile bike shops in North America. The direct-to-consumer move by many bike manufacturers has been a huge driver for our growth."

Velofix's consumer-direct delivery program, Velofix Direct, has also recently new brands including Priority Bicycles, Blue Bikes and Ventum.
