FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif. (BRAIN) — A Pedego Electric Bikes store has opened in Bar Harbor, Maine, near Acadia National Park. Pedego Acadia is the 107th Pedego store to open worldwide.

Store owner Anne Watson said e-bikes are ideal for riding Bar Harbor's historic quaint streets as well as the park.

The store offers bike rentals as well as sales and self-guided tours. One tour uses the nearby Schoodic Ferry to take riders to the Schoodic Peninsula; fresh lobster and crab roll picnic lunches are provided for the ten-mile bike tour along the coast. Guided tours will be available soon.

The store sells all 12 models of Pedego's electric bikes.

"Pedego electric bikes provide the powerful assist that riders need to see all there is to see around Bar Harbor and beyond," said Pedego Electric Bikes CEO and co-founder Don DiCostanzo. "We're thrilled that Anne has chosen to share her passion for electric bikes with the people of this great gateway to Acadia National Park."
