Ellen Kast and Amelia Kegel join NBDA's Women in the Industry event on April 12

Published April 8, 2021

IRVINE, Calif. (BRAIN) — Amelia Kegel, the co-owner of Milwaukee's Wheel & Sprocket retail chain, and Ellen Kast, the co-founder of the American Classic component brand, will be panelists on the NBDA's Women in the Industry event on Monday, April 12.

The virtual events are free and open to retail and industry members who identify as women; NBDA membership is not required.

NBDA president Heather Mason said the virtual events "provide an opportunity for introduction between ladies in the industry, while discussing important topics. The restricted platform will allow a place for real talk between women."

The first event, in March coinciding with International Women's Day, attracted more than 60 women.

Each event lasts about 1 hour and requires pre-registration on the NBDA website.

The topic of the April event "is Building Self Confidence." The event is at 4 pm PDT.
