LAS VEGAS, NV (BRAIN)—Interbike expects about 4,000 retailers to demo the latest bicycles and accessories over the next two days on Bootleg Canyon's trails outside of Las Vegas.

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA (BRAIN)—Interbike has entered into new sponsorship and technical partnership agreements for its Media Center, a working news room on the show floor of the 2009 Interbike International Bicycle Expo, which runs from September 23-25, 2009 in Las Vegas at the Sands Expo and Convention Center.

MONTREAL, Quebec (BRAIN)—While the Bicycle Trade Association of Canada (BTAC), producer of ExpoCycle, saw an increase in exhibitor participation there was a drop in attendance for the 2009 show compared to 2008.

MONTREAL, Quebec (BRAIN)—It's a good time to be in the bike industry and the Bicycle Trade Association of Canada's Data Capture program, which tracks bikes sales in Canada, has the numbers to back that up. Canadian suppliers sold nearly 200,000 units to retailers in the first six months of 2009.

FRIEDRICHSHAFEN, GERMANY (BRAIN)—Eurobike is again revamping its trade show dates for 2010. Eurobike’s Demo Day is Tuesday, Aug. 31, with the show running from Sept. 1 through Sept. 4.
