MELBOURNE, Australia (BRAIN)—The Ausbike Australia Bicycle Trade Show in August has already sold out around 70 perent of the 10,000 sqm show to be held on Sunday and Monday, August 16-17 at the Exhibition Pavilion, Melbourne Showgrounds.

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA (BRAIN)—Outdoor Retailer's 2009 Summer Market Open Air Demo has been changed from two days to one day.

This year's Open Air Demo will take place at Pineview Reservoir (near Odgen, Utah) on Monday, July 20, prior to OR Summer Market's indoor expo, July 21-24.

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (BRAIN)—After the huge success of last year's North American Handmade Bicycle Show in Portland, there were some grumbles and moans—mainly from west coast builders—after show founder Don Walker announced that this traveling show was heading to Indianapolis for 2009.

SPEEDWAY, IN (BRAIN)—Despite a down economy, the 5th annual North American Handmade Bicycle Show (NAHBS) is holding its own, with 115 exhibitors as of yesterday.

While this is not the record 150 set in Portland in 2008, it is up from to the 2007 figure of 105 in San Jose—in a good economy.
